LSA what sensor can I borrow for a short time

Good eveing all, appreciate any advise to save me time. I have a LSA in a CTSV with a few mods. I have an external pressure pressure guage that is fine, but for what Im doing next I really want to log in HP Tuners. My car does not have fuel pressure logging as it stands (long story - nor the wiring to connect one).

The pressure sensor Im using now is a 0-5V 3 pin, that i would like to wire into an exisiting sensor, so that i can start logging in the short term.

I have not even started looking yet, though I believe the inlet air temp sensor is 0-5v though 2 wire.
Any ideas to save me time i appreciate.
I understand I will need scale the sensor but thats no issue. Thanks

Tapping into a 5 volt reference will affect the way the intended sensor reads. Buy a cheap 12v-5v converter off Amazon.

Is he not talking about doing the same thing as tying in a wideband into an AC or EGR circuit?

You cannot use 2 wire circuits for 3 wire sensors.

2 wire sensors are generally resistive or inductive; that is to say they don't require a power source to operate. Temperature sensors are resistive, and inductive sensors produce an AC voltage.

3 wire sensors have a power and a ground, and use a logic circuit to produce an output signal representative of the thing being sensed.

As for the input, that will be dependant on your PCM and what inputs you have available. In your case, probably EGR pintle position or AIr Con pressure, as gtstorey suggested.

Yes but you're borrowing the ref circuit for a sensor that's not there anymore.

Had to come back to edit this. Been quite some time since I've tuned a vehicle with a wideband setup like this. You're also borrowing the signal in so you can read it via HPtuners as a custom pid. So quite a bit different than borrowing just a 5v ref.
