Hi everyone!

I?m swapping an A20NFT (2.0 T from an Opel Insignia) into my Saturn Sky (originally 2.4 LE5 with a 5L40-E automatic).

All the hardware is sorted: mounts line up, LE5 oil pan fits, intercooler is in place, fuel system is ready.

The only headache left is the electronics.

I?m using a Bosch E39A ECU and the factory Insignia engine harness.

I need to disable the immobilizer (VATS) and make the ECU talk to my 5L40-E?that means flashing the correct transmission segment.


Local tuners here have little experience with the E39/E39A; they say HP Tuners won?t let them write the T42 trans segment.

Questions:

1. Has anyone run an NFT/LDK in a Kappa chassis (Sky / Solstice) and kept the 5L40-E working?


2. Which tools actually flash an E39/E39A (HP Tuners, K-Tag, EFI Live, something else)?


3. Does anyone have a ready file?VATS-OFF and the correct trans segment? I?m happy to pay for it.



Any advice, links, or contact info for a proven tuner would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
