    starts then dies 2008 silverado v8 swap

    Well I did not want to have to come here but here goes. Helping my buddy on a swap he did, this is a 2008 work truck that originally had a 4.3 he converted it to a v8 gen 4 based 6.0. the ecu and harness are off a 2010 we have fuel pressure etc. Sometimes it runs but only with throttle and runs horrible this does not matter how the ve tables have been tuned or airflow minimum etc I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING. I have tuned many of these motors and yes I know alot of tables are very weird right now, it was an attempt to try everything across the board. I've even swapped to a 08 ecu with a stock file and done the normal prep to get a cammed 6.0 running to no avail. Has anyone experienced this before? Pinout issue maybe?     It looks like you have no MAF data, and your IAT is at -40. Check the wiring to the MAF.

    I did have it setup with a MAF and correctly reading a IAT but this was at the end when we gave up and I had already pulled that stuff off before leaving for the day. In the long run we will not be running a MAF and only running a IAT sensor which I will pull the correct pins etc for that. I currently am having someone to come reprogram the bcm in hopes that the bcm is not liking something and shutting it down. This does stay running on carb clean but shuts down injector pulse.
