2008 5.4 3v triton FRPP cam tuning help

Hello all,

I have a 2008 F-150 with the 5.4L 3V Triton that I recently rebuilt. I installed the Ford Racing Hot Rod cams, and everything is running mechanically solid.

I'm pretty new to ECM tuning, so far my teachers have been YouTube and ChatGPT... I'm very experienced mechanically, but getting comfortable with tuning has been a slower learning curve. That said, I've got the basics down and I'm working hands-on in VCM Editor using HP Tuners.

I'm looking to build a strong performance tune for this setup, ideally something that brings out the best in these cams while keeping good drivability. If anyone has a working tune for this combo (or something close), I'd really appreciate it! whether just as a reference or a solid base I can build off of.

Also open to any advice, tips, or even connecting with someone who?s been down this road. I'm serious about learning this stuff right and getting the most out of my setup.

Good luck getting much on a truck, a most everybody does cars, and the ford guys like to keep their cards close to their chest lol. But with that said, post the stock tune, maybe what you've been working on so far, if you like. I have only seen a small amount of 5.4 stuff on this forum, but Im sure if you search you might find some tunes guys did to give you a couple directions to look.
