    2016 Ford Focus DCT Tuning

I am looking to try and tune my 2016 Ford Focus to reduce shudder and slippage. Currently it is throwing a P2787 DTC for Clutch A over temperature. I have replaced the clutch and both actuators. This is a rental vehicle so it is completely stock. It has been 1k miles since the clutch replacement and it has had no issues until now. I have driven it and it drives fine, a customer had said the Transmission Overheating message appeared but no CEL set. Checked DTC's with FORScan and all that came up was P2787. I am certain this is setting due to more of a factory tune issue rather than an actual mechanical problem.

I connected the MPVI3 to the car and tried to pull information off of it. It read the ECU just fine but it gave a list for the transmission. I was not sure what to select so I left it blank and read the system. It gives some adjustment points but does not show Transmission Diagnostics screen or any pressure tables etc. The only adjustment points are gear ratios for 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.

Is the tuning done by gear ratios and not so much pressure changes or shift timing like a regular automatic? I have experience tuning 6L80 transmissions but I know these are different and are a dry clutch DCT versus a Torque Converter.

Any help is appreciated. If anyone has a stock tune file with the full transmission options available that would be great or if anyone can give advice on tuning this transmission. Thank you for your time.

IIRC, it's not an actual automatic. More like a manual transmission.
