Help with understanding the difference between US and EU Raptor

Hello everyone,

I have 2 stock tunes:
1. EU Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 292hp - european version detuned
2. South Africa Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 392hp

Being interested how the difference in power is made, I compared the files in VCM Editor. Surprisingly, there are not any notable differences that would account for the power change. So my question is, how is the difference of the power made? Are there any missing maps that would account for that?

Any input is accepted. Attached are the files.

I'm in the same boat as you. I think the main differences are in the torque management as there doesn't apear to be any way to adjust the boost. Not that I have seen anyway.

But there is nothing different in the torque management, unless there are extra maps hptuners does not recognize yet.

I sent you a PM, I did a log last night that showed the EU ranger only ever seems to open the throttle to 60% so I have created a map to allow the same throttle and torque/shifting maps as the stock SA tune and will see how that goes.

I tried just modifying the throttle and it didn't make any difference as I beleive the torque limits are also limiting the throttle position.

Mine do go to max % and then drops to 30%. I tried a lot of things but nothing did raise the tq or the boost.
