Hey Bill (foff) or any diesel pros

Now that I have your attention.

I have a buddy at work that is wanting me to tune his Duramax. The problem is, his is one of the funky 2006 LLYs. From what I understand, this is a sort of a LLY with LBZ electronics. I tried to just connect the scanner and it told me that there was "no power from the vehicle, make sure key is on and in the run position". I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but while I was trying to connect, my firmware updated from 106 to 110 (I believe that is right).

So, since this is sort of a hybrid LLY , does that mean it isn't tunable yet?

support would probably be the contact place that would serve you best...we currently only support up to 05 so im not sure when the 06 LLY's will be supported.

Support? This is under "contact" on the main page? Thanks.

It is better for all of us that they take their time now. Let the beta people find all the bugs now, rather then later. The LBZ & the "2006" LLY are the same motor. The 2006 LLY is just a detuned LBZ. I would bet that once the LBZ software is out so will the 2006 LLY software. Gm totatly changed there software. It does take time to learn it.
