    Timing issues

My car has been tuned in SD for a while now and I've never been able to control my timing. This past weekend I found a new problem that never arises in 1/8th mile racing which is usually what I do. But this past weekend, I found the timing drops 8-9* about halfway through 3rd gear and the car is a dog on the big end of the track. There is no KR or any obvious signs for the car to do this. Back in February I ran quarter mile and it never did this. Any help is appreciated.

i need your .hpt file. The only you posted is only 20.9kb which is invalid.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Why are there no shift rpm or shift speed settings?

I'm pretty sure that Lance uses a TCI controller for his tranny as his car originally came with a 5-speed.

I tried out Lances solid timing at WOT this weekend, and it worked quite well for me. I did it to check on the same problem lance is having. The timing in our car will jump all over the place during a run, but with the timing table set at a solid 25* at WOT, the timing was 27* all the way through the run.

Strange what lances car is doing.

Yea I use a TCI controller on the transmission so those settings are not needed. The only thing I can think is not running a MAF is messing with the timing, who knows.

Can the stock PCM run in closed loop with no MAF? I'm still running the MAF tune up quite nicely.
