    Please Help Car Runs Like CRAP!!!!!!!

    Hello all,

    when I bought my car a few months ago, The previous Owner had done some things to it with HP tuners. Recently the car has been acting up really bad. IE, Sluggish - No throttle response, when I go WOT the car bogs really bad, I MEAN bad, wont even make it to 70mph, when I let off the gas, the rpm's dip and then come back up to where they should be.The cr sounds like it has a massive cam in it, and the rpms are 200- or + at idle.

    I changed spark plugs, and It is still the same.

    Today I did a scan, because I wanted to know WTF is going on, And to my suprise , Everything is all messed up,

    For example, just cruising around my O2's constantly jump from 99 to 1000.

    My LtFT and STFT are not even close to each other, Some banks are 10+ while others are -10+.

    I have attached both my scan and the tune that I just took off of the car, Could you guys please help me to fix this problem , and give me a general direction to go in.

    Is it an LS1? What car? Firing order seems off by 1 if a C5?

    man that tune looks way mesed up. The VE table is totally wrong. The PE tables are WAY rich, probably to make up for the incorrect tune attempt on that car.

    I recomend getting a stock bin file from the tune repository and copying and pasting all the the VE, MAF, and Timing tables, as well as anything else that was changed and start over fresh. Your going to chase your tail with a VE table as screwed up as that one.

    btw, the o2 sensors should go from 99-1000, that means they are working properly. And you only have 2 fuel trim banks. not sure what u meant by "some are +10 and some are -10"

    thanks for the reply, also, would this explain why my car bogs at wot?

    The car ran fine @WOT, the I changed plugs,(exact same brand, gapped at the same specs[TR6 .035]) and now it falls on its face. but i am not picking up any misfires.

    I would think TR-55's would be a better heat range for your mods, unless your spraying of course. But that is beside the point.

    Changing plugs would not cause the car to fall on its face. If this problem started happening immediately after you changed your plugs I would start by checking to make sure all the plugs are in tight and the plug wires are on correctly and tight and the coil packs are all plugged in. Altho it is odd your not picking up any misfires, unless the previous tuner disabled the misfire count so its not setting an SES light.

    Maybe you knocked loose the intake track and air is sneaking in un-metered by the MAF?


    If the tune ran fine before, it just wont go bad one day. I think you have another issue.

    Once you sort this problem out I would still re-tune the car IMO, that tune is a mess.

    lol, thanks

    could you tell me how to check and see if the misfire count is set up correctly, and what it should be at.

    Also, I run the tr6's because My CR is 11.1 to 1
