    injector change wont start

Could someone please look at this ID1050x data change and see what I missed? I'm learning but have a long way to go.

Well looking it over again I messed up the pulse adder. Hope thats it.

    Did it run before?

All you did was change injectors and now it won't run, like at all?

    Data log?

Check for voltage at your injectors?

Even if the data is off it should start and run at least.

Does it fire at all? Start and stall?

Have you tried cracking the throttle with the pedal?

I watched a youtube guy scaling ID1300's. Followed his steps using the 1050x spreadsheet. Doubled the stoich halved the density and ivt. It tried to start then gurgles to life and dies. Tried holding pedal down didn't work. Put old tune and injectors in and it fires right up. I changed the pulse adder but have not tried again. The old fuel tune is very different than the new one. I thought it would be pretty close but the previous tuner must have used other methods to get the FIC injectors working. Seems scaling for 63lb limit is pretty common but not in my old tune.

The old tune looked stock for stoich, ivt and density. The pulse adder, min max pw and offset are very different.

You pasted the Flow Rate numbers into the Short Pulse Adder table. 32 where it should be 0.002 just might make it not run.

Exactly what I was thinking. May try it again.

I put the new injectors in with the corrected inputs. It starts then dies. I cut the minimum pulse width to 1.5 from 3. It started but barely runs. I set the stoich and ivt back to stock. It idles but not well. I put my old tune in for the FIC 1000 injectors. Starts and idles but ltft are -18 shorts -4. So something is still off maybe airflow? I just want it to run well enough to get to the tuner. I can put the old injectors in and get there but would nice to know why this thing is not responding to typical changes.oldtune new injectors fat.hpl

OOOPS that may it. Getting decimals off. THanks

So i had the correct numbers in and it wont run. The tune I put back was my old one. It has zero min pulse and .875 short limit.

This makes it run very rich as above. Nothing even close to ID data.2008 jerry tune fandtcoff misfires 14to3500.hpt

What the living holy hell happened to your MAF table? Do you have the sensor in a 2" ID tube or something?

It’s in the standard Procharger tubing

Well I guess that means it'll run out of MAF Hz at like 300HP worth of air. The numbers in your table are like 1/3 of what's in a stock '08 LS3.

Then I need to scale it I guess. I’m not experienced enough yet to change it so I guess I’ll put the old units in and let the tuner figure it out.

In the hopes I can understand this please explain why my engine was able to start and run when I reverted to the old tune. By eliminating the scaling on the new injectors data the values were back to the fic1000 tune. The ltft were super negative and I added air it went super rich half min pw it went lean. So it liked none of the typical setting used for the new injectors nor the half flow double stoich stuff. I saw it has half as much maf air flow as a normal ls3. Why a procharger with meth and bap is set that way is beyond me. I put the old injectors in and won’t fiddle with it now. Don’t want to get stranded somewhere. I could tell when too much air really upset the engine. When I cut the pw in half it idled rock steady at 1000rpm real lean so I was seeing how those changes worked. Still no clue why the vastly different values in injector tune worked for one kinda and not the other. On a happier note FIC wants my old injectors to evaluate and replace free of charge if they are faulty.
