    First Start, First time looking at a Log File

    This is my first time using HP Tuners. LS1, 5.7 from a 2001 C5 Corvette. Stage 3 NA BTR Cam, duration at .050 intake 231, exhaust 244 at .050, Lift intake .631 exhaust .615 LSA 112.5. The rest is stock with new rings and bearings, stock injectors, summit exhaust manifolds.

    I am thrilled that it starts up an idles so I am looking for advance on what to tackle first. From the smell it is running very rich an the LT B1 seems very high an about 5% higher then the B2.

    I appreciate anyone that is willing to take a look and help me get started down this path.

    Address the Cam Sensor faults, well all the faults, but those especially. Make sure Injectors are real/decent and the data is correct. Then search about adjusting the VE table.

    Yes get the cam position sensor problem fixed.

    I am trying to diagnose the cam sensor faults. 5.7 from a 2001 C5, BTR Stage 4 NA. It will start with some effort and run, very rich at least that is what it smells like. I need to clear the codes so I can start the tuning process.
    The sensor is new (Delphi), I have aprox 11.6 volts at the plug (red wire) with the key on, and across the others (pink and brown) when connected back to the red, so it seems to have a good ground. I read that some volt drop across the system is normal so it may not show 12v at the plug?
    I do have a trunk mounted battery, and good clean grounds from the battery to the chassis, and starter to chassis along with a second ground from the head to the chassis.
    When I probe the computer (73 Blue) and a ground I am getting around 50% duty cycle at idle and I can see cam counts going up in VCM scanner. Or do I need to be checking across the wires using 73 and 61?
    I am not sure what to check or do next?

    I think you should follow the diagnostics for P0342/P0343. Either one will find the problem, they're almost certainly both being set by the same fault. Just pick one and go through the steps.

    Is this still the stock rear mount sensor reading directly off the camshaft, or a front sensor conversion which always gets the extension harness pinned wrong and occasionally gets the wrong cam gear installed?

    You need to post the wiring diagram you are working from for more feedback on what you should be measuring.

    Still the stock rear mount sensor. I will lookup the diagnostic procedure, I followed one I found on a forum earlier that ended with checking the duty cycle at the pcm and if it was between 45-55% to replace the pcm.

    Is this a one-time-only thing where it would be perfectly fine to borrow service info from somebody else, or do you plan to DIY your own EFI repairs/mods in the long term?
