You should go ahead and take the time to smooth out that table also.

of course I do lol, I am still tuning the VE tables so I shut off LT & ST fueling and the data logs are from the WB that you see

NBs are not going to give reliable readings with that combo, how in the everlovin' hell do you expect their data to be good enough to do the tune?

It's not something that's done after, like frosting on a cake. It's done during. Multiple times. Like each time you make a change, you smooth. Make a change, smooth.

Sorry guys, my bad lol, that's what the data table looks like right after I do the cut & paste from a drive around town...here's what's actually in the tune (if you open it) when I typically semi-smooth it before the next drive...do you recommend even more smoothjing for back to back drives? Obviously my FINAL version will be COMPLETELY smoothed!

Your VE table in general should look like your/a dyno graph. So... yes put more attention into it for each test. Get rid of the large peaks and valleys from one test to the next.

Another baffling question as I go through the drive cycle and modify the VE table....when I look at the last drive I made in the light load/low RPM (48.8-51.6kPa/2250-2500RPM) range has what appears to be a severe lean area which doesn't appear to be an errant data point because right in the middle of this range the drive saw 700+ hits! What is going on here because the table is "reasonable" in this area???

Your injector on time is 1.0 ms. You're in fuel cut.

I saw that...why is this happening? Because I have the LT & ST turned off as I'm tuning?

Also, here is the latest VE table after todays 1st drive...it's geting better...

I don't know and I wouldn't care. Unless it's causing an issue, why worry about it? It's how it's supposed to operate. It's not under load. It's like knock retard. If you weren't logging you wouldn't even know it's happening.

No worries, that's what I need to know because then I will just disregard those data points when modifying the table!

Anything light load below 2500 rpm or so on this combo is going to be a mess by normal daily driver standards. That's a product of asking it to and building it to make peak power around 8K rpm and not having a R and D team in place to sort out the drivability below 3000 rpm.

For me it doesn't matter that it's a mess below 3000 rpm. I don't mind it as I know what I'm getting myself into and am willing to accept the trade off for what's about to happen above 5K rpm, but I sure as hell wouldn't put my wife in the driver's seat and ask her to go get us ice cream!

...and who knew ED know's the proper order of events when baking a cake?

Been busy with a lot of things but have made good gains with the VE table tuning...about 80% done tweaking ALL tables and casual driving is 95+% better! You be the judge BASED ON THE VIDEO if this wild beast "non-streeetable cam" as the experts chastize me with lol can't be made to have street manners for casual rowing through the gears...
