    Trans torque management ETC help

I have a recurring problem when the car kicks the tires at the track. 2009 Cadillac CTS-V...when I leave and it loses the tire, I try to pedal the car, but the trans has control of the throttle body and won't let me have any fun. I think I've narrowed it down to what the problem is, when the car spins the tires, second gear is commanded...and the shift hasn't completed by the time I stick the throttle again, so torque management from the shift is still in and is limiting my desired torque. Once the shift completes, it gives me control of the throttle body again.

I only have one log with enough channels logged to make sense of it, and you can see it when I attempt to pedal the car. Is there any way to make the trans give my foot control of the throttle body quicker in instances like this after hard wheel spin on a launch? Here's a log from one of these instances, and the tune was in the car. I was thinking maybe something to do with fast torque exit or ETC rate even though tip-in limiting is disabled, but I'm lost on this one. Any help would be appreciated!

I would imagine it's the first gen 6T40, car is an 09 and the transmission hasn't been built. E67/T43 OS.

Put ECM 2869 back to stock or near it.

I don't have much proof for this but... that isn't a torque limiter but rather how much torque TCS is allowed to pull. Your allowing it to pull 6042 ft-lbs.

6Txx would be transverse, like FWD.

That makes sense as far as TCS goes...but this happens when traction control is off. It's like it commands the 1-2 shift during wheelspin, but I lift or it blips the limiter before the shift happens...and then when I stick the throttle again, the ETC torque management type is "trans" as well as spark torque management....so it commands shift, I lift before that happens, I nail it again, and it's like...oh yeah, we need to shift before I'll give you the throttle body back. You can see it in the log under the torque management type channels.

Could TCS torque still be the culprit?

I was thinking it might have something to do with the fast torque exit values, ecm 2850 and 2852, enable and torque limit are maxed on those as well...but I don't know enough about what exactly those do to know for sure. But the description sounds similar to what's happening to the car.

3,000 rpm, and 6041 is 92 mph. I thought those were limiters for VCM scanner commanded gear changes?

I'm a dumbass, I thought ABC was asking about physical trans info when he said TCM 6040 so I got to googlin' early TCM's and didn't realize he was talking TCM 6040 in the tune

Trying to get the right info to people trying to help bit me in the butt

It would be easy enough to try. and just tapping the TC button isn't enough to turn off all TC

My truck has a press to turn off TC, then press & hold ~10s to turn off VSC. But I don't find a mention of the long press in the CTS owner's manual.

To completely turn everything off you have to press and hold the traction control button. Press it once-turns traction control off. Double tap it and turns traction control off and reduces stabilitrak interaction. Press and hold for about 5 sec turns both completely off
