Need Help setting up Shift Points

A couple of questions, guys: I recently had a TCI SSF3500 installed in my 02 Z28. I already have a tranny cooler in place. My problem is how can I get my shift points in line with the new stall. Some of the shifts are smooth but others cause the car to lurch between shifts. I've already set the DTC P0757 twice. This caused me to lose third and fourth. I cleared the code and got 3 and 4 back. If I remove this code will it prevent me from losing 3 and 4 gear? I'd rather not do this.

What parameters should I be looking at? I tried setting up a config file using the shift speed error PIDs in attempt to see how I could modify my shifts. But no luck. If someone could point me in the right direction I'm sure I can figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well I lowered the WOT Shift Speed vs Shift normal/hot slightly and raised the Desired Shift Time vs Torque by 15% in 1-2 and 10% in 2-3. It seems to have made the world of difference.

I also had to lower my shift MPH for the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts by 1 MPH with the Vig 3200 stall in order to keep it from hitting the rev limiter. Have you removed torque management yet?

So you -increased- desired time and it smoothed out?

I've seen mention that too low an adaptation time setting
might let the gear change get "tangled up" (like trying to
apply quicker than release?). But this is the first time I've
seen "real people" report anything like it.

I heard that as long as you keep it over a .100 you're alright.

Here is a paste of the table:

    1-2 shift 0.256 0.256 0.256 0.256 0.256 0.213 0.194 0.169 0.169 0.169 0.169 0.181 0.194 0.213 0.231 0.256 0.256

    2-3 shift 0.288 0.288 0.288 0.288 0.288 0.288 0.288 0.238 0.238 0.213 0.213 0.213 0.188 0.188 0.194 0.2 0.206

    3-4 shift 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5

Yes. But only the tranny TM. Not the engine TM.

I think you might be experiencing engine TM. Put back in trans TM and remove Engine TM

Also change your min/max slip value. That is what is causing your code.

I returned that table back to stock. I was messing with the wrong area. I found that simply raising the shift points in the 1>2 2>3 rpm ranges made a dramatic difference. No more lurching/hesitating.

After much 'tweaking" I solved the original problem, which was the hesitation between 1>2 2>3 shifts. Increasing the desired shift time did NOT help in this regard. It was in fact the engine tm not being totally disabled.

I have since put the desired shift time back to stock, and in a very few cases, made them a little higher. I just wanted to update you on that.
