What do you mean by "cable"? Just the cable parts or the cable/interface?

the part that plugs under the dash
the middle
and the part that plugs into the laptop

If you just want to add another vehicle to you exsisting cable it would be cheaper.

If you want another cable(w/ interface) you have to pay the 499.00. There isn't a discount for buying more than one interface of the same type since there is a resale value of the package (since it isn't vin-locked).

What exactly are you trying to do with two of the same?

share with my out of state family
that went in with me on this

we both have 03s so the having 2 vehicles
didnt really apply to me

just gets annoying having to mail it back and forth

I can mail it alot and deal with the frustration for 499
