dielectric silicone grease fixed my CONNECTION

I've been having a lot of 'lost' connection & cable-not-found errors with the scanner program.

Putting dielectric silicone grease in my cars OBDII 'port' seems to have 'solved' those problems.
It's the same stuff that you use for spark plug wires, & can be found at any auto parts store.

Norton antivirus is a pain in the a@@.
You can't just 'disable' it when your using HPTuner.
It enables itself sometimes during the middle of a scan...
Why does it do this by itself....

You got to turn it off via 'options', then restart your laptop so that it doesn't 'load' at startup.

Not sure which version of Norton you have, but with the version I'm running (which isn't the newest version), I just right click on the icon in the task tray and disable auto protect and everything is fine for me. Doesn't re-enable on me or nothing.

Just create an exclusion for the HPtuners directory in Program Files. Then it never scans those files. Works like a champ..
