Datalog Params
I want to log the following:
Spark Advance-- figured that out
RPM -- figured that out.
g/cyl -- how to log this?? I am trying to correlate the spark values w/the tables in use. Or how do I convert
g/sec to g/cyl airflow.
SUGGESTION:
Instead of a bunch of graphs, gauges, tables, etc. BTW, I like the Excel comma delimited output. How about take a spark table as the graphic display and use the X,Y coordinates from a datalog to replay the run?? IE,
highlight the spark table areas as the engine is running given a particular user's spark table.

Re: Datalog Params
g/cyl = MAF(g/sec) *15 / RPM
there is a PID that is called "Dynamic Cylinder Air" although it's not supported in all OS's.
we know it's an issue at the moment and we are working to resolve it.
Thanks for the other idea, the trouble with taking the spark table and playing back the cell used is that there are two spark tables and a variable interpolation factor between them (plus a whole bunch of variable retard algo's). Are you basically after a SPKAdvance vs RPM vs CylAir output?

Re: Datalog Params
Yes, I'm looking to follow the trail as I roll into the throttle.
BTW, how do I download updates when avail??
Thanks.

Re: Datalog Params
can you just add a fake pid that does this computation for our lazy asses

Re: Datalog Params
is the dynamic cylinder air PID not working for you?

Re: Datalog Params
Ok, I tested and this variable works for my DPXL.
