Does anybody offer a similar product to this one for Ford applications? My friend is looking for a programmer/programming tool for a 2004 Ford Ranger...but Ford's don't have anything out there unless you have a darn full-size.

SCT is the only one at the time as far as "end user" versions of Ford Software that work similar to this.

Be prepared though because it doesn't come with any datalogging devices in the standard package and the standard package alone cost $800.00.
Attention the big three of HPT...this is a sign that we need something from you guys .

I just saw something in my MM&FF Dec04 issue on page 63. It's some new company debuting at SEMA about a new tuning software for Fords. We'll see what that's all about.

Almost makes me wish I had a Ford! That is pretty damn cool, now if only they had a real website (unless I can't find the enter link).

I've had the SCT flasher and software since Feb of this year, and it works great. I have a 99 Cobra nitrous car. I am positive the SCT package is all I will ever need, even if I go Turbo next year.
My wife has an 02 Vette and that is why I am considering the HPTuner. If it works as well as the SCT software, I will love it. SCT also has a datalogger with an external input for a wide band, which I also use.

Go with the SCT. The sniper deal is fishy to me, and I've dealt with them all (some even have my work in them), and most are copies of copies of software. Stick with what works, and has customer service-SCT.

Hi Guy's,
Newbie here.
I live in Australia. I have a Ford 4.0 lt turbocharged car. the SCT software has just been released here and they are starting to get some excellent results with these engines.
I was wondering if VCM were planning to release a product to compete with the SCT tuning software. Or do you know of sometheing else on the horizon.
The Australian Fords use the Black Oak PCM is this the same as in the US.
cheers
