Have you looked at the typical stuff in a datasheet that comes with (quality) aftermarket injectors? If a table/setting isn't in the typical sheet, then it isn't 'injector data'.

There's dozens an' dozens of 'em posted farther back in this very thread, grab some and have a look.

Caught a typo in one of the injector part numbers, nothing to do with the data, just the tab label was wrong.

    This covers:
    19421333/12580681 - 29lb, lots of Gen4 trucks
    12587269 - 33lb, LY6/L76
    12594512 - 36lb, LMG/LC9
    12613411 - 38lb, LMG
    12576341 - 42lb, LS3/L99/LS7/crate engines
    12609749 - 50lb, L92
    12613412 - 50lb, L96
    12598646 - 52lb, LSA/LS9
can you send me the injector data for 12613412 - 50lb, L96- non referenced, returnless in gen 3 format

Do you need some help clicking the link in the thing you quoted?

The most recent version is right below this post though. Probably use that. And probably try paying more attention to the thing you are reading and replying to. It helps you be less confused about what is going on which will help you in all kinds of ways.

Not even going to lie I have no idea what I'm doing, and I have no idea if I'm even asking the right questions. I've been jacked around twice by two different email tuners already paid a total of $900 and My truck still doesn't run right. So I'm trying to figure out how to do this myself. I've never tuned a vehicle before, up until a week ago I've been scared to change anything in my file because like I said I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm trying.
I'm just trying to find some support. It took me a minute to figure out that my tune file had the wrong injector data in it. The link labeled( GM Gen4 injectors v2.1 ) All it does on my computer is downloads the web address for the forum that I clicked the link on. Then I click on the download and the page opens back up to the forum page with the link. So I'm the one confused

Right click, save as. You will need some sort of office suite software to open a *.xls spreadsheet, if whatever is already on your computer will not do it.

When you click on the link it should download a .XLS file. Look in your recent downloads and see if you see something happening in the top right of your com. just as you click the link.

    Bosch 210 (253.8lb@4bar) - Bosch 0280158829 - SEP data.

Watermark removed from file due to forum limitations of .xls file size.

I was thinking on this thread.. Instead of excel sheets it might be more useful and more fool proof to do these as a template. You can use one template to handle GEN 3 and early late GEN 4.

I don't need this... but you got to be honest.. a lot of people can't handle getting the right injector data in their tune from a excel sheet.

I use templates for other things daily. They work great in HPTuners.

In mine for the Gen 4 injectors I made separate tables for the regulator type, rather than trying to explain to use one column, or expecting a highlighted column or something to make it obvious. I figure if a person can't pick which set to copy and paste they don't have any business around something that needs injectors changed.

Problem is two things - posting whole tune files just for the injector data is kinda inefficient, and, posting just the data assumes that people will know to verify they're using the data right - right fuel pressure, right regulator type, etc. Some percentage of people will just find a file/data for a given injector# and use it, not realizing their setup needs something different.
I opened your 19421333 injector data so that I could use it for my LC9 tune, but I cannot figure out why the column axis of the table is different from my tune file table. Your data displays Flow Rate vs kPa while my HP tuners file has Flow Rate vs Pressure Delta (kPa). I have several choices for the column units, but all are expressed as Delta! Do you know how I can change my tune file to match your table?

Sounds like you have a gen 4 controller. Should be the same injector as this 4.8.

Many thanks for the reply! I had a look at your file and as I was getting ready to make the changes to my file I noticed the column header numbers for kPa delta are not exactly the same. And when I use the compare function and display the differences, the column header numbers aren't displayed at all...I'm assuming it's because they are different between the two files. Also, your octane scalar number is not the same.

Obviously I'm pretty inexperienced using VCM Editor. The only reason I use it at all is because I live on the Big Island (Hawaii) and there are no tuning shops here! My initial tune was done on the mainland before I shipped the truck over here (1993 Defender 130 that I repowered with 2007 LC9 and matching automatic 6L80 transmission). Mistakes were made along the way and I've slowly been trying to fix them on my own.

I've attached my file so you can see what I'm talking about. Do you know how I can get the scale of each file to match?

    Aloha from Hawaii.
