I deleted a couple of codes for a friend and afterwards I went to scan his car and it kept telling me that it couldn't find the connection, I made sure that everything was connected and tight and it was. I then went over to my car and everything worked fine. Both cars are 99's. Please help!!!!

open up the help manual to the VCM Flash, Troubleshooting section.
Please check you have power to the OBD2 connector as it is often shared with the cig lighter.
