    Ability to Zero VIN

Would it be possible (like LS1Edit) to have the option of zeroing the last few digits of the VIN number for secruity reasons, so that there isnt any possibilty of VIN stealing etc. when sharing files on the open forums etc.
Isn't the last 3 or 4 digits just an assembly line serial number anyway.

An excellent idea! Match this with the Bin Viewer and everyone in our tuning community will benefit.

    Re: Ability to Zero VIN

Sorry to hijack the thread for a minute,

How about giving consideration to being able to change the year (10th digit) of a VIN to facilitate sharing of tunes between years of the same make of vehicle, if the previous concepts are too broad ranging?

the zero last few digits of VIN thing can be done. Bin viewer/compare has been discussed many times and will be done in the near future.
