    looking for Narrow band MV to Wideband reading corilations

    i know i've seen this on here before, i just cant find it for the life of me.

    i want a table that corilations narrow band readings into WB terms.

    for example

    860mv=11.6afr

    880mv=11.8afr

    or it might be vise-versa, but you get the idea.

    thanks!

    There is no correlation.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Every car is different. My old car read 870mv for 12.8. The goat reads 910mv for 12.9.

    Only good for stoich.

    My AFR at 11.6 is right around 920mv. Nothing consistant will be found.

    Yep, I know, but for those trying to get a grasp on things it's got a place.

    No offense Bill but I don't want to confuse the guy so I've deleted the link, because if that link was even close to accurate(which it isn't) my wideband reading of 11.8:1 at wot(which reads 870-940mv on my NB depending on the day) says im only running 12.7-13.5:1 which would be very lean in a boosted application such as mine, instead of just throwing info out there lets throw GOOD info out there

    i'm truly only after what 14.7AFR equates out to in MV terms.

    i'd like a whole scale(aross the who AFR band that is) but i can settle for stoic only number, if there is, in fact a constant for that AFR

    300-650 mv usually means stoich.

    My car was usually 325 to 625!!!!
    Though sometimes it'd be closer to 400-500 and other days it'd be 350-550 ... and other days....

    As stated, there is no "if the voltage is this then youre AFR is this"

    The median of around 450/500 is generally stoich (which stoich depends on the gas... 14.7:1 for gasoline but closer to 14.3:1 for E10)

    but the farther from the median you get the greater the standard deviation ... When the PCM is trying to correct for stoich, it's constantly switching , high , low, high , low, just trying to keep the median around the stoich voltage (hence why Bill gave you a range since there is no "if it's exactly 450mv then it's exactly stoich")

    Back in the day people would use their narrowbands to tune... but it was never accurate and never smart to do on a high HP/High Compression car, or a blown car. even w/my little heads/cam LS1 only make 400hp I made sure I was running too rich than too lean (O2s closer to 980) ... but with wideband O2 sensors so cheap now... there's no sense guessing at it....
