In v1.4 this was in the Engine>Spark Retard section
but in v1.5 it's gone (but other stuff, like Recovery
Rate and the gain settings remain). I found this to be
a useful param to minimize the amount of KR jump-up
on single blips.
Where did it go? If it's gone missing, can I have it back?
Its still there. I renamed it.
Base Retard Vs. Rpm
What was thought to be the attack rate was actually the base knock retard in degrees. It is then offset using the ECT and Baro gains.
Finally, the base degree retard is set from gain value via the knock sensor.
The more knock the closer to the base value you will be.
The final retard value is then clamped off by the max knock tables.

I opened a recent tune where I had 0.100 values in the
Attack table. Now the values are all 9.011 instead, when
looked at the Base table with v1.5. My gains are all 1.00
at normal operating points. Yet I have never seen a
9-degree KR jump-up. Is it really just a renaming? Seems
either the data or the translation basis or the actual
data entity in question must have changed.
The Help indicates Base*Gain(ECT)*Gain(BARO) per-knock-
detected increment to the KR, as I read it. I'm now totally
confused about how that all works; the description here
seems to indicate something like (actual-base)*gains?
But then you say "offsets"? ???
Maybe you could dumb it down another notch and I'll get it.
Erm... Mine were also set to 0.100 and are now 16.000 to 40.000???
