    6.0 Iron block/5.3 heads tune trouble Trans Am

    Picked up a trans am today with a 6.0 and 5.3 heads, etc.

    The MAF is not reading on my HP Tuners scanner, I tried another maF off another car and it doesent work either. I checked and its not turned off in the computer.
    Also I only see down to like po171 and there isn't any codes after that? what the crap

    any ideas?

    no one? Car gets progressivly worse every day. Now its missing and running like crap all the time. Idles great! But its hard to drive, acts like its not firing all cylinders. The engine and ignition are all perfect, it has to be the computer. It was only missing when you lugged it in high gear, but now its al the time. It acts like a car with a bent pushrod, but I checked all of them and they spec out. Please help someone!

    Probe the MAF connector Terminal A:12V B:GROUND C:5V

    Why would it show so much positive LTFT on the Right bank...while the Left bank is mostly negative??? does it have an exhaust leak on the right side?

    I can't figure that out. It only misses when that bank shows high readings. I can open up the scanner, turn closed loop OFF when driving, and it immediately quits missing and drives great.
