    LS6 MAF on a 3.8?

Has anybody done this yet? How did it effect drieability, and idle?

    not on a camaro..

I belive FWD 3.8's have an adapter available now to run the ls1 TB's (same as the ls6)

I think intense or ZZP sells them..

I couldent imagine there beaing drivability issues.. provided that it was tuned after the install.. and the IAC was adjusted properly..

Works great... Done it to 2 l67's and one L32...

I use the SLP recal MAF for the LS6.. 85mm MAF with temp sensor if you really want to use it.

Is there any advantage to using the SLP one over a GM one? I don't understand how the temp sensor is integrated.

Anybody know of the cheapest place to pick one up?

The temp sensor is just intergrated into the area of the plug on the MAF. There are a total of 5 pins.... 3 are the MAF and 2 for the IAT.

Surely if you are GTP you know of the Happy knob and you will use the IAT for that, or the ICCU. These function is easy to program into the VCM with the HPT software.

The SLP MAFs can be found on ebay for about 120-150...

The SLP recal is done so the MAF can hit 15K... to bad the software tables cannot get 15k for the GTP's, but the MAF works extremely well compared to the stock GM non--recal MAF.

Its a 99 camaro with a turbo, I have no idea what the happy knob is? And my MAF table only goes to 11500?

I'm sorry but I still don't understand what the advantage to recalibrating the sensor is?
