Here is what I was told to do in lamens terms, someone else may want to jump in on how effective this is. and weather or not this will work, One thing that has really helped me is V 1.6:
First thing set your idle to 900, if you swapped injectors, make sure you have adjusted for them. Now onto tunning.
Here is how I'm doing it:
1. Get car up to operating temp.
2. Go out do some logging, instead of watching the pretty gauges, turn on the histogram.
3. after filling as many cells as you can, push the stop button.
4. Now right click and copy all the cells
5. Open VCM editor, open your VE chart and paste as special(multiply * 1/2%) and paste over the top. save you chart and start over.
6. Repeat as many times as needed to get all you numbers to -1, -2, 0, 1, 2
Remember - numbers are rich + numbers as lean.
7. Add 1° of spark everywhere
8. Re-log using Histogram
9. anywhere you see knock decrease the spark there.
10. add everywhere until you get signifigant knock then just go back.
