1998-2000 run on the secondary VE table. Is this true? What does that mean for someone tuning?
Pro and Cons of MAF and SD are?

Yes its true. I'd still copy/paste to the primary from your log and then copy the corresponding rows from the primary to the secondary in the editor, and then load the changes into the pcm.

Will do. I have another 30 or more miles to go before I make changes.
I have far better luck changing the secondary and pasting to the primary. You are running off the secondary, so you might as well get your fueling right there first. Pasting to the primary is pretty much just in case you ever plug the MAF back in.

In my Z28, I run Open Loop all the time (bracket race car) ... and I paste to the primary first. The reason for this is I can smooth out the primary table with higher resolution, then paste the corresponding MAP rows over to the secondary. This way I get a better secondary table that is (IMHO) smoother than just using the secondary ... plus it is easier for me with my calculations. But, to each his own.
