    Injector Flow Rate Table

Is 0 VAC or 100 VAC idle.
I've Tried to change the 100 VAC and 90 VAC to help tune my idle with no effect.
Can anyone give me some insight?

Well, I have always read that as 0 is idle... 100 is WOT..

    Neither.

0 is just that 0 vaccuum.

100 is the lowest vaccuum reading the sensor is capable of.

Idle is somewhere in between. My ZO6 has about 20 inHG of vac at idle so tha is about 67 kPa or 9.8 psi of vac.

Your "idle" is somewhere in the same range.

The sensor are 1 BAR, 2 BAR, or 3 BAR meaning the measure that range of pressure.

    1 BAR measures = -14.7 psi to 0
    2 BAR measures = -14.7 psi to 0, 0 to 14.7 psi
    3 BAR measures = -14.7 psi to 0, 0 to 29.4 psi

The area you need to adjust in your table depends on your cam, etc. A $20 boost/Vac gage will tell you where you need to adjust.

EDIT: if you are adjusting the IFR table for an idle problem, you are probably adjusting the wrong thing.

    Re: Injector Flow Rate Table

What are my options then to edit idle fueling?
I'd like to leave the MAF table alone.

This is on a 98 GTP with a pretty big cam.
I have had this problem since installing 60lb injectors.
I'm told that they are a bitch to tune at idle so I resorted to the IFR table as previously recommended.

My fuel trims are near 0 everywhere else except 0 and under very light throttle.

Well first.. you need to set your LTFT's to somewhere between -4 and -8.. you want to be sure that your car is not adding fuel when you go WOT, it will screw up your WOT tune.

That aside, I would start with a few things for idle.

You may not be able to ge the car to idle like stock.. what I mean is at say 700 RPM. If the cam is that big, you may have to bump your idle up to say 900 RPM.

If you are not idling properly your IAC motor is probably fighting to keep the car at the prescribed idle. I would idle it up a bit higher and start there.

Check your IAC counts and the position as it relates to what you have set in the software.. I am assuming that you got a cam recommendation from someone.. see what they have for IAC counts, etc.. and work from there.

Thanks for your help so far.
I'm trying to figure out how to log my IAC counts. All I see is IAC position in the scanner under idle.
At idle the IAC position is just over 1000.

I'll try bumping the idle to 1000rpm, it's at 900 right now.

    AGAIN, a V8 guy answers a V6 question and is WRONG :

On our L67 v6 cars, 0vac is idle, 100vac is WOT

Nice way to get people to help.

If this is the case, I certainly apologize, BUT... for as smart as(s) you are, I don't see you jumping here and offering to help.

If my information was incorrect for a V6, I apologize, I assumed that the convention was the same.

By the way IF you read the WHOLE post.. you would see when I answered the first time, I had no idea that it was a V6.

I do offer lots of help on the othe 12 other V6 specific forums i watch!!! My wife hates me for practically living on this damm computer

This particular forum is one i visit maybe once every other week so sorry i didn't post before you did.

I have caught several wrong answers given on here, not on purpose, just out of lack of knowing
We are making V8 power out of 3.8l with half the software the V8 guys get.

Our cars are bastartds when it comes to tuning software, i wish they were half as easy as the v8's

    I just assumed it was a V8

    12.26 is pretty good for a V6... ;D

Good enough to suprise more than one Camaro or a stock C5.

I used to have a V6.. but it was a Typhoon.

Thanks, it's not bad for a FWD V6 I used to own and race turbo regal's that were much faster.

It's fun going to the track with the baby seats in the back and running faster than trailered in cars!

I've raced a couple of s/c C5's, one killed me and the other i beat so i guess that i isn't to bad ;D

I'm waiting for a RWD LS2 family car from GM, wishful thinking ehh!

    Mine ran 11.19 @ 127 after only 6 passes.

A little more tuning and some practice on my part and it will run 10's without an issue.

The one i beat went 12.7@111, it was a lingenfelter Magna charger w/5psi and the guy couldn't drive.

    Nice times by the way
