Out-damn-standing . Just to refresh my memory, how much will it cost if in the future I decide to upgrade my cable to the USB? My USB adapter is working fine for now though ;D.

like he said, software is about to be released...I know they havent released the hardware details as of yet.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I also can't get a straight answer on if ver 2.0 will even work with the old hardware.

Wouldn't that suck to have software but have to buy the harware to use it.

One thing I have not seen posted.. What features do NOT work in 2.0 using the 1.X hardware?

I am thinking CAN will not work, what other features in 2.0 have to have the USB interface?

It was not posted because it should be obvious.
There is no CAN controller in the serial interface. GM did not have it in the vehicles we supported, so there was no need to implement it.

As for what 2.0 and the USB interface are capable of, we are purposely not answering those questions until the hardware is released.

We are gearing up for production, so don't ask me what day it will be ready and how much will the upgrade cost.

Does anyone else have any of these symptoms:

1.) An HP Tuners Main Page and Forum Page in seperate windows open allday, manually refreshed every 5 minutes?

2.) Email rules setup to forward all email from HPTuners to your cell phone?

3.) Any email with the topic "Re:ver, 2.0" sends goosbumps up your spine?

    hmmmm...maybe it is just me...

    Re: ver, 2.0

To give you guys an update,

We're still tweaking 2.0's installer.. it is taking longer than I had expected.

Right now I see us releasing, at the earliest.. probably sunday..

The installer has to be correct before we deploy or people will have to manually unininstall before our next version.. and our support boxes will be flooded.
We got this guy Not Sure, ...

    Keith,

Will we still be able to order the LS2 HP tuners from your web site when you release it?

I don't have a current version of HP Tuners but based on what happened to my PCM when it was tuned with LS2edit (it was locked as you know), I am definitely getting HP tuners.

Well were no longer in the "soon" time frame, at least if this week is a little too tall an ask we all know it's just around the corner. in any event [glow=red,2,300]one[/glow] day more or less is no big deal
