What is EGS52?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
A wise man once said "google it"
Well if you have ask that question I guess the answer is no.
Transmission support.
The Hemi stuff uses EGS 52 for the NAG1 transmission in 2005-2006 and EGS 53 with NGC 4 in 2007 and up.
I think NGC4+ in 2009
It's all a package you'll need some transmission support to do some flashes if not just to do a TCM auto learn the variant.
here's some info

and AJ I would submit to you this:

The engineers are working on it, from what I can tell, but it won't be anytime soon.
Jaime
The NAG1 transmission TCM's use a ST10 chip.
That chips been around a while and can be hacked.
This guy.

Guess I figured this was you since the screen name is exactly the same.
Sorry for the assumption.
Jaime
No disrespect, but if it were that easy, there wouldn't be such an issue about it since the companies that currently offer DCX software would have added it by now.
I think it was posted by Chris somewhere in this forum that the Seimens chip was common, but the boot loader used by MB was custom and the issue wasn't getting it to read/write as it was getting it to read/write in the vehicle.
Here it is: http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showpo...67&postcount=6

True other companies have a grasp on whats happening but alot of hardware has to be changed to make it happen.
Plus there are different operating systems along the vehicle line.
Plus your correct it ain't easy
Changing much of the TCM can't be done in the vehicle but then again some things can be changed.
Like flipping the bits in the Variant Code.
But the new MOPAR 6.1 TCM file gives a good basis to start a new IDA disassembly file and do a comparison against the factory calibration.
And I see a member of this board has inside factory information that would make a difference if he really wanted to.
well i have some trucks in need of support for tuning and would love to run this
www.youtube.com/redline2103
will be looking forward to your support
damn weve been waiting for over two years for this beta version lol it will be sweet being able to tune the SRT4s though. Ive met many of them at meets complaining that there tune is holding them back.

Well, if you're so smart: http://www.hptuners.com/employment/
Do you really think they haven't released it because they are unable to figure it out? They have already stated in this forum that NGC3 is complete and they are currently working on JTEC, then, NGC4.
BTW, Pulling a little data is far different from producing a user friendly, reliable, fully integrated tuning/logging suite.
Being a jerk about it will do nothing to further the cause, unless you are here to try and smear a company and push something you are developing.
Jaime
I offered once to help for free a couple years ago..
never heard a thing back.
If you think that snippet was easy to come by and run thru IDA you have to learn alot.
If NGC3 is done where is it??
NGC3 died in 2006 it's like NGC4++ now.
The snippet I provided is NGC4 with NAG1 TCM support.
Not trying to smear or push anything I'm just trying to push a manufacturer in this case HP.....
but not to worry I'm equal opportunity
I slam Diablo too and they had all the Hemi files hand delivered to them thats why they are so far along.
BTW JTEC is sooooooo 2000
OK I'm done and out.
Back to your regularly yearly scheduled begging.
BTW I didn't start this thread....... HP did 2 1/2 yrs ago....
