    I also found this...

I assume these sensors are pretty simple.

    says 5 wires.

    So I assume
    12V?
    ground?
    3 info wires?
---1 to connect to a guage?
---1 to connect to input unit like EIO?
---1 spare if you wanted to connect to something else?

how does the EIO work? Is it just a one wire hookup? 2?

    I assume

No that is just the sensor...You still need something to control it...

yeah, just get an lc1 setup with the enhanced box...lc1's go for ~$199
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    ^^^ what they said...

You need a sensor and a controller ... plus that price for the sensor is stupid expensive... you can get them for low 40s shipped from 1stvwparts.com

The sensor is used in volkswagons

Hell... I had to buy one one day really quickly so I bought it at a VW dealership for 55 out the door... these shops selling them for 70 and 80 are just trying to screw you over and make a quick buck... they're buying them for under 40
