    vehicle use license

    Greetings-
    I have an older hptuners (#389) which is licensed for a 2000 camaro- I seem to remember I could scan (read) the vcm of any supported model- I also have a 2008 envoy (4.2) which I am trying to read with no succss- gives "cannot contact vcm- make sure key is in run position", did I misread the licensing info?

    edit-just tested power on the odb port- its ok
