    Torque Management in A4 C5

Could someone please confirm if the below is sufficient to completly remove Torque Management ?

1: Open your editor, go to Edit>Transmission>Torque Management.

2: Set Abuse Mode Enable False

3: Set Abuse Mode RPM, Abuse Mode TPS and Abuse Mode Speed to 0

4: Click over on Abuse Mode Torque Reduction vs. RPM. Set all values in Normal to 0.

If so , then what about the following :
    * Torque Reduction vs. Torque vs. Shift ? Do we need to zero it out ?
    * Retard vs. % Torque Reduction ? Again , should we leave it or Zero ?
    * Max Torque ? Current value is 350 . Should this be left or bumped up to 639 ?
    * Maximum Engine Torque vs. Rpm vs. Gear ?Do we need bump it up to 639 ?
    * Max Torque vs. Rpm ? Current values or 639 ?
    Any other fields/tables ?

    Thanks guys

i have seen that in the tune for my truck done by a mail order tuner, the TM in the engine section didnt look like it was touched. And on the tranny the abuse mode was just set to disable. Can the engine TM be safely removed also.

If you want to remove some torque management during shifts you can edit torque reduction vs. torque vs. shift normal/performance.

I Would not remove all torque reduction for shifts for a daily driver to prolong trans life.

You can log to check shift reduction, you will see a sharp drop in timing advance only at the instant the trans shifts.

I was wondering the same thing, but no help available, I guess. Did you ever figure this one out for a daily driver?

BG is my home town. I raced quite a bit at BB Park in the mid-70's. I'm getting a cam, headers, etc. installed in the next 2-3 weeks. I'll stop by after
everything is up and running. Where at on Dixie?
You don't by any chance have a couple of smog tube block off plates for Pacesetter headers do you?
