80# Siemens Injectors - Can you get the to idle stoich?

Like the title says... can you or have you gotten 80# Siemens to idle stoich? If so, are there any tricks that you have?

The correct settings including SPA, Min Pulse width, Default, Offsets etc and the Min Fuel Milligrams (under Fuel ==> Transient) seems to do the trick when I've used SD Inj in the past. Cant take credit for the Min Fuel Milligrams, can't remember who posted it up ages ago, but kudos. I just realised you were referring to Gen4s, which PCM, E38?

The Gen IV PCMs have an easier time with them but they'll never be clean. The injector to injector and shot to shot consistency isn't very good. Do you have the Banish data? That will get you closer than no changes.

Dave, I know you are an advocate of ID injectors, Do you believe that if I went to a id1000 I would be able to get it idle at stoich and make everything easier?

I did a 2006 GTO in SD with the Siemens Deka 80s. Definitely not my favorite to work with. Ended up running only 50psi base pressure to get them away from the super short pulse width.

Are these the red striped ones? I think they are fine, I've tried to tune way way way worse (Deatchwerks OMG). I run 43psi at idle though, I'm sure that helps some.
I've tuned lots of ID1000's that didn't seem any better to me.

what size engine are they on and what are all the power adders/mods? There is a point at which a largely over-sized injector won't idle at stoich. So at this point we just need more information.

At being over sized too much for the engine, the injector simply cannot go to a low enough pulse to keep stoich. have you modified or gotten any data for the injectors versus the stock tables you may possibly be running off of. And do you have any data at all such as minimum pulse from the supplier?
