    Speedo Reading in KPH?

How do you set up your speedometer to read in Kilometers per hour? Some how I've done this and I'm about to get a ticket for doing 90 everywhere I go
Need to get back to MPH.
Please help. I have no idea how I've done this.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

no way to do it in the tune...must be a button on your truck
only way you could mess up your speedo is if you entered the wrong values in the tables for the speedo..like maybe you changed the tire size/gear combo and didnt do the right # or something...

oh..and post your file from your truck and we can look at it

Tire size and gear is set to 28.0/3.73... I don't know whats up.
What's weird is that I was fighting that damn security light and it finally went away when I went back to the stock tune and recalibrated it to the current settings. Now, I get rid of the light and the speedo is all jacked up.

Is this a tire radius vs. diameter issue? Are you sure it's kph (mph x 1.6) off, vs reading double?

I wasn't quite sure on the multiplier but, it seems to be.
I'll double check tomorrow now that I know what it is.
I sent SoundEngineer my file... Wasn't quite sure on how to post it here....

    Thanks.

your tire size in the NA file is wrong....
you have it set to 28.00
try setting it back to 28.84...and 3.73 gears...then hit commit..

somewhere you must have accidentally changed it...
it shouldnt be off by almost double..but it would definately be "off"

I've attatched the 2 files as well...

is the first one completely stock??

if not..then attatch one that is
go advanced...scroll down...manage attatchments..be sure to click upload after you have found the files you want to post

ok..what is the actual tire size listed on your truck...
meaning..what does it say. 285/50/17..or whatever
would like to know...might help in troubleshooting

    next..
I would start with your stock bin...flash it back to the truck...

then copy and paste your current/latest file VE, MAF, and spark tables.....
    Maybe RAF.....nothing else...
then double check your speedo vs somebody elses vehicle that has an unmodified car/truck

if its all good..then it just means you messed up your gear scaling side of things somewhere in the past..possibly just teh difference in vss pulses throwing things off...

if its still wrong..its possible you have a bad speedo.or just a bad cluster..in which case..its back to a GM service center for some hopeful warranty work...if you have done stuff to the wiring..then check there first....

in the meantime...if you get a ticket..just be sure to talk to the county prosecutor and explain faulty equipmnt...you'll still have to pay a fine...but you wont get points on your liscense

    Hey,
    It's a 275/60/16

This is a brand new 'copied' and 'pasted' tune... I was previously having problems with the Security light and after getting that done by the C&P to a new .bin, I got this speedo thing so... I guess I've gone and PUCKED something up somewhere or another.

if its all good..then it just means you messed up your gear scaling side of things somewhere in the past..possibly just teh difference in vss pulses throwing things off...
Is there someway I can go about fixing this?

    Thanks Scott

If all else fails, your owners manual may have info. If not check with your local dealership.

It was the Pulses/Mile... somehow they are stuck at 8000

    Suppost to be at 4000

It will not let me modify the value. Once you even 'touch' anything, it automatically jumps to 8000.

So, I took the stock bin and put all my tweaks on it and everything seems to be okay now.

    Whatever...
