Sent! Thank you guys so much. I can't wait to get started. Missing2 showed me the interface and what it can do a while ago, and it's very impressive. I wish we had this kind of control in the import world where I came fromOriginally Posted by Keith@HPTuners

Our orders page is updated to reflect LS7 capabilties
We got this guy Not Sure, ...
I just opened up a LS7 file and no Main VE table, just Cranking VE.
2005 LS2 table, it's there.
Am I missing something?
What version are you using?
Its in engine->airflow->General airflow->Main VE->Primary

The version you sent me today with my app. key. 2.1.4
It was downloaded last night by my partner that got the beta from you yesterday.
He e-mailed it to me so I can get working on it for a tune on Sat.
We also have a new C6 vert with a fresh LS7 transplant that we have not been able to fire up til now.
Thanks for the quick turn around on my interface.

e-mail me the file and I'll check it out.

Thanks Keith, it's on the way.
Are you in advanced user mode?
the new PCM GM has changed the MAP based airflow calculation to be algorithm based, i'm working thru the stuff now but i can tell you that it is not a simple table like the old code.

Thanks Chris.
I can get by with the few cars I have, but head and cam LS7s I will need the VE table.
there is no "VE table" as such. However we will add what is there and attempt to explain in plain english although i guarantee you won't like it

I'm not real happy the way the ve table is laid out in the 2005 LS2s, but what are going to do.
You lay out the tables and I'll figure them out.
Love a challenge, keeps the brain active.
yeah the LS1 wasn't really meant for Speed density operation but it worked fine and was easily understandable. The LS2 is much less so. As the GM software developers get the computing power they could only dream of in the mid 90's the algorithms get more and more complex and "better". So much in fact that the calibration engineers who actually use this stuff require incredible amounts of training that arguably they never get.
If you talk to any cal engineer who is involved in tuning the E38 or the T43 (A6) TCM most will cringe.
So much for computers making life easier huh...

It sounds like what you are saying is that the new motors run alot like the 3.8 liter motors.. where the VE table is worthless unless something fails..
except in this case the 06 vettes dont even have the backup table to run speed density if something else fails?
what happens if the MAF has an issue?

the 05 LS2 has a similar although more complex calculation for the dynamic airflow that uses both the MAf and VE.
The 06 LS2/LS7/L76 has an even more complex function.
