Roger,
I'll just keep firing them through in the interim. Do you happen to have a list of parameters you are planning to add/amend so we can avoid hassling you on items already in your workflow?
cheers
Luke

Eric im working on a 2007 gt500 with a 4.2LC kenne bell, and wish to datalog in high speed and the ford pids how are you going up with the datalog stuff
1. tq calculation-tq table-
2. Solenoid transfer function-solenoid 5 temperature compensation table
3. Max RPM in drive with no vss must be moving table
4. Cam angle volts
5. tmap calibration table
6. spark tip in/out & global KS gain table
7. IPC pedal count for throttle angle
Those appear to be the ones we've had requested.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Bill I thought I could already recall spark tip in/out being there already?
By TMAP calibration table to you mean we can run a true 3bar and higher TMAP sensor?....giggity! From memory the stock one is only good for 2.5bar so that will be good for when 23psi isn't enough
#4 who knows...it was just something one of our customers requested, they had no info to offer, just wanted to know if there was such a table in fords(we get alot of these types of requests).

I think its mainly the offset for VCT that we need bill. SCT can control the cams individually, from memory it was BA mkll onwards that had it in the factory pcm
BA MK11 FPV's onwards had dual VCT.
Hold onto your keyboard Eric.......
Here's a list compiled by comparing parameters mapped and used in SCT to HPT
Spark
• Dwell Time As Function of Battery Volts
• Dwell Time As Function of Battery Volts & Coil Temp
• Spark Retard to Torque Ratio for Idle
• Torque Ratio to Spark Retard for Idle
• Max Spk Retard for Tip In Based on RPM
• Tip In Boarderline Modifier Slope ECT
• Tip in Spark Retard Table for Change in AM
Torque Calculation
• A/F Ratio As Function of Torque Ratio
• Spark Retard to Torque Ratio
• Torque Modifier as Function of A?F Ratio
• Torque Ratio to Spark Retard
• Torque Table Friction
• Max Allowed Torque Before Stall Truncation Forward
• Max Engine RPM for Tip In Tq Control
• Min Engine RPM for Tip In Tq Control
Rev-Speed Limiter
• RPM Limit for TCM Based on VS
• Torque Limit for TCM based on RPM
O2 Sensor
• Front O2 Heater Duty Cycle
Knock Sensor/s
• Knock Sensor Gain (not per cylinder) - BA only.
Fuel / Fuel Injector
• Base Fuel Table Enrichment Lost Load
• A/F Multiplier to Avoid Stalls
• Intake Valve Opening Degrees
• Time for Fuel to travel to Valve
Turbocharger
• P1227 Filter Constant
• P1227 Level
• Wastegate Boost FMEM
• Boost Integral Gain Clip
Variable Cam
• Variable Cam Angle Max Retard Limit
• Variable Cam Angle Max Retard Limit Overlap (BF)
Speed Density
• Correction for MAP Slope Vs Aircharge
Alternator
• Voltage for idle
• Voltage Setpoint
If you could go ahead and have those added by lunch time today Perth Western Australian time that would be great

But is all that necessary? Just because it's there, doesn't mean that it is really essential. I don't tune Aussie Fords, so I don't know, but it would probably be better if you make suggestions of items that are actually hindering you, not a one-for-one comparison from another software company.
Just my opinion.

Yes. 90% is required. I have reworded my post. Theses are Parameters mapped and commonly used when tuning Aus 6cyl SD fords.

absolutely, alot of the time when it comes to tuning simplifying things is better for everyone otherwise when you have 10 tables that do the exact same thing it just confuses people. So we try to add only the tables that are necessary otherwise you'd have a bunch of stuff that is useless.

Good to see some real progress being made Eric!!! Im about to do a basic pulley and intake tune on a 2006 Saleen. Ill let you know if I see anything missing.
Also, I just had a guy ask me about fords flex fuel strategy and whether it was like GM's were it could be "turned on" with compatable ECM's.. Feel like checking into that Eric? Does anyone know if Fords actually use an ethanol content sensor?
