The yellow/brown wires have to be tied into the green plug. I have two AFXs (and two plugs) so that I can have an easier time handling multiple cars... or log each bank.

Just wanted to put my .02 cents in. I have a Haltech dual-channel wideband on my Dyno Dynamics dyno, and it has worked flawlessly for 3 years. It uses a Bosch sensor, and I can put one in each bank ahead of the X-pipe, or compare pre and post cat AF ratios.
The Haltech system sells for between $275 and $350, depending on how many sensors you want.

Don't know. The one I use now is a Mustang dyno which is fine considering I'm not involved with AWD stuff anymore.

Reading so much on widebands, seems to me like its NGK AFX and even then, check against AFM 1000 or lammbda pro unit.
I'm almost thinking heck, get the NGK and hide in glove box, for gauges, get boost and fuel pressure, as long as your tuned properly on the dyno using lab grade equipment, then u just have to keep an eye out on fuel pressure thats all?
Have an NGK FAX hiding in glovebox to look at from time to time.
Just bought one but the display is a bit on the LARGE side... any way to tap
into the box housing the display and get the output to a different gauge?

Does anyone know the NTK part number for the lab grade sensor? How about the best price on the AFM1000 sensor replacement?
After doing some more looking, this doesn't appear to be correct. While the NTK 24302 will work with the AFM1000, I don't believe that they're the same sensor.
Here Ballenger lists them separately as different sensors.
