Had luck first 14 times i flashed it, dead now, has a tcm code now even with stock tune,I have tryed unhooking battery 5 or 6 times, probly 20 combinations of things, weird it flashes or says it's flashing tcm but act like it's not talking to it on the buss line
Are you flashing ecm and tcm at the same time or separate?
I flash separate as I've had issues on the 5th generation vehicles when flashed together.
I recently purchased a 2018 GMC Sierra 5.3L/8 Speed trans. Thought I would get used to the extra 4 gears, but I don't like how it shifts. Should down shift sooner, stay in a gear a little longer, etc. Did you do this tune for a customer or yourself? Do you/they like it better now?
I spent a lot of time getting my A8 in my 2017 6.2 Silverado to shift the way I want when I want. This trans is sweet once dialed in to personal specs.
can you help me with mine...I cant get the first couple shifts to be soft..they slam into gear and lunge the truck forward,,
I took the pressures away in all low torque shifts..But still more firm than I want.. and I don't know what other tables to change..plus I still get the hard clunk going into 2nd with almost no load or slight decal..
did you have the trans built, i had my caddy trans built and according to the builder, the wave plates were removed.
this causes a very hard shift.
i can't get 1-2 to soften up either, but rather it shift firm instead of not enough pressure.
if your trans is not built there's no reason why a stock tune won't shift normal unless it's been modified or "built".
