Hellcat Boost Question

Have a customer who brought me the car with mods for tuning. How much boost should the ATI 10% overdrive pulley and the Metco 2.65" pulley make? Anyone else running this setup? This car starts at 20 psi and rises to 30 psi at about 5k. I think there is a restriction in the exhause somewhere. Anyone have any hard data for me?

FWIW, the metco pulley says it will add 6 psi. The overdrive pulley says it will add another 3. I'm unfamiliar with calculating the overdrive pulley to main supercharger pulley on these cars.

yes deff way high, Ive used the 2.65 upper, have not not done the lower yet, but a 10% would not add "that much" boost
Either your logging equipment is off, or there is a restriction

Thanks for the reply. Logging with a mechanical Auto-meter boost gauge right at the top of the supercharger. Probably an exhaust restriction.

What are you reading are you getting from the MAP sensor while logging it?

30psi is alot of pressure.

Is the exhaust glow red right after doing a pull?

But with that setup you should be seeing 18-20psi.

I have the same setup its making 18psi straight from the dash but make sure with this boost you should use Q16 or C16 .

Tracked the problem down. At some point the customer installed high flow cats on the car in his home garage since the last tune (he was trying to quiet it down apparently). Yanked them off and can hear them rattling around when shaking them. @firehawk222 Car was already tuned on E85 several months ago, he's just done some mods and brough it back for retuning.

That's good news. I know you was about to start pulling you hair out over it. Did you break the 900 hp limiter?
