Does anyone even use the calculator in the editor?

I figured the calculator would be convenient when you want to scale values and such so we added it to the editor package.

But, does anyone really use it or do you just use windows calculator? Even I find myself using the windows calculator by force of habbit.

So who uses the VCM Suite Calculator? If so, do you like it?

    Calculator?

I use the add/multiply/replace-by options on the table
editor. But I didn't even notice a calculator tool being
    there.

Because VCM Suite seems to automatically convert table data between kph/mph, and with its add/multiply/replace options, I haven't needed to use the calculator in it.

Having said that... I do tend to export logged data and calibration tables to Excel, and graph / do comparisons etc within that. I guess I do use Excel for calculator functions that I might otherwise have done in VCM Suite.

I don't have the software loaded on this PC and I cannot remember if the "tire size conversion" tool is part of the calculator or the speedo calibration. Anyway, I have experimented with the "tire size conversion" and intend to use that when my 18" wheels arrive. Other than that, like you, by instinct I would just click "Start...Run" and type "calc" to pop up the Windows calculator.

The WINXP built in calc works great & does Hex to bin conversions in Scientific mode.
