cammed? need to modify misfire tables or else lockup wont engage
Also check the brake switch input. Sometimes they are backwards, if you lightly touch the brake pedal while in cruise range, and it locks up, then the brake switch is working backwards the what the ECM is looking for, Common on older conversions.
