Anyone run into this? Any time I disable the MAF the car is immediately in reduced power mode.
No other 2017 that I've tuned as done this, and none before. Might even be isolated to just the ZL1.
DELETED TUNE - would be a bad base.

The 15, 16, 17 Vettes also will not run properly with MAF failed. No one has posted a solution if anyone even has one.
I have basically disabled the effects of Reduced Power Mode and can tune VVE out of boost but cannot get more than 2 psi or so without the MAF, Z06 included.
I did a SD Procharged C7Z on meth yesterday, we were testing some different combinations and were running out of MAF frequency up top. The secret is in the Maximum Limit Factor, or at least that is what I changed to get mine to work.

I set MAF Fail High to 0 Hz, Low to 16k Hz, and MLF to 3 (just a guess, as it was above my 20psi max pressure.

That's pretty much exactly what I did and have also tried raising PR Limit to 5 and still can't build boost with a failed MAF (currently a 2017 Z06).
I am wondering if I am missing something in the Tq Management tabs. The car runs fine, fully tuned VE up to 105kpa and full MAF, would love to have VE fully tuned top to bottom though.
Got some tips from andrewzpsu - started from scratch and got a much better running tune. Deleted my original.
with Maximum Limit Factor at 4.0 and Pressure Ratio Limit at 4.0 and MAF failed and the pedal at 100%
Throttle is 100%
no spark pulled (23 degrees)
Cylinder Airmass maxes out at 1.03g
MAP maxes at 126 kpa
Desired Boost shows 170 kpa
Axle for Predicted Engine
Driver for Predicted Axle
Torque for Throttle Control Source
I don't know what is limiting the airflow....is it venting boost?

Swapped from the stock blower to a whipple and got full boost in SD.
So what's missing now, the stock boost control solenoid. On the stock setup, even unplugged electrically it would act the same way. Try pulling and plugging the vacuum hoses on it as/if needed to see if you can regain control. I never got the chance before.
Im running into the same exact thing. 2017 ZL1 A10 with a Whipple. If I fail the MAF, I immediately go into Reduced Engine Power. It's making it a pain to get this thing dialed in. Has anyone come up with a workaround? I looked for the Maximum Limit Factor table, but couldn't find it. Where is that one hidden?
So how can I go about tuning the VVE? Also, I didn't have this issue on the V3 CTS V that I tuned a week or two ago. Is this something that is specific to the Camaro?
