Have a long way to learn with HPtuners, but glad I can log some runs. Maxed out my injectors and high MAF numbers. Thinking of upgrading to 650s. Still need to adjust MAF as LTFT are high. 2015 SC Tundra, RCF TB, TRD Blower, 55mm pulley, race exhaust, OBX LT headers, meth injection.

dont bother calculating the inj const as the maf scale is limited to 512g/s in some ecus after 450g/s the ecu doesnt compensate, you are going to end up running lean anyway, start by leaving your maf as its and adjust the inj const until you are 2-5% richer than your target from there you can adjust your maf.
or you can use stock maf and add 15% fuel or start with trd maf scale before adjusting the injector const
and beside that the 650cc are too small if you already maxed 450cc, we were able to use 1600cc at 58psi (id1300) on the stock ecu no issue other than cracking which you can work around
your tune need alot of work start by raising your torque model and remove throttle limit if any, change your pe 1.333 is really good starting point especially if you are on stock piston and rods, you may lean it out a bit maybe pe 1.25 because you have meth you dont really need to run leaner its better to scale your maf with your meth kit off and then turn it on to raise the timing.
do you have external fuel pressure regulator cause you definitely need more fuel, once again 650cc is not enough fuel injectors for tundras over 12-14psi
make your pe kick in quicker, 40 throttle "enable" and 35 throttle "disable"

Thank you again. The WOT run was with the TRD Tune and 550cc Injectors. I already bought the 650cc injectors and that is the limit I set as this is not a built motor. Boost is 10 psi. I am attaching the tune currently running (Basic TRD Tune) and the one I slightly modified to run the 650cc injectors. Will readjust Injector constant for the 650cc injectors once installed. Have lots of learning to do with HpTuners and any advise is appreciated.
.just fyi your cruise control might not work properly if you have the newer ecu
Why the cruise control might NOT work properly?? Any clue?
I've finally got great fueling under wot as well as no more false ethanol learning. (16FFV SC 5.7)
Next step is trying to get this beast to (*as much as possible) sip gas instead of guzzling it while idling and cruising around town.
I have a humongous intake vs stock, larger tb, overdrive SC pulley.. so it's not going to be getting 30mpg.. But I'd like to try to get more than 10-12 that I have now.
HPT doesn't seem to have any table to modify cruise afr... Only afr as a whole (currently 14.6 oem)
I'm not sure if modifying that would be safe or mess with my wot fueling...
Maybe I can gain some mileage by playing with the cam VVT in cruise and idle cells. (Not entirely sure HOW through.. more exhaust retard and less intake advance?)
Anybody have experience or advice in the 'safety gaining mileage' department?
I thought I'd put this here first instead of starting a new thread, since this one is title "Repository".
I am chasing a 2017 - 2018 LC 200 series stock file. The twin turbo 1vd-ftv diesel engine with DPF. If anyone has this stock file, could you post it here please.
I'm excited to tweak this engine and especially the trans to help that 6th gear stay engaged! Anyone played with these much?
Thanks for any help.
Here is a 2014 tundra with a mag s/c trying to help a buddy out. It was tuned at sea level an now at 4500ish an getting a lean code cel. Dont know the injector size but they look maxed out but its read a high ethanol is that what makes the injectors max out?
lannie stock.hpt
his truck.hpl
Yes, ethanol at 85% will call for about 30% extra injector pulse width.
You need to reset the eth content (which unfortunately you can?t do with HPT)... I use a tech stream knock off, dealer can do it, or you can fix the tune and refil a few gallons to get it to start relearning.
Either way, unless you adjust his trims to get negative stft in cruise and idle, he?s going to see that eth content keep creeping up after fuel ups. I cover that in my posts back a page or so.

Thanks for the reply 4firemandan. I was able to reset an do small adjustment but the inj duty still was to high for a wot log, did what I could on the tune. I was lost why the adjustment I made didn?t have a affect. Come to find out the fuel pump was weak and not able to keep. Fuel psi was fluctuating from 60-20. Dealer is replacing under warranty, I?ll post back when I?m able to start the process over. Thanks again
@matt1231
That makes me nerves, I?m still rocking the ffv pump for the short term and I keep hearing about them falling left and right.
Glad to help, and yes please let us know what you see after the replacement and tune! 👍
Ffv have an internal in-tank regulator that restricts fuel at wot. This has to be disabled.
Hi all! I have a 2017 flex tundra with a whipple and am having all kinds issues, It was tuned by a very well known tundra guy in dallas and we have upated the file several times with no luck... keep setting a p219a code and have looked for the reason high an low! just hoping for a bit of advise! here is a log when the code set. and the current tune.
