    LT4 supercharger conversion IAT location

Just finishing up a LT4 supercharger install on a LT1 stingray. Id like to get the IAT sensor out of the MAF with a breakout harness. My though is to remove the front OEM MAP from the supercharger and use this port to install the IAT sensor. Is there a better location or way to install an IAT sensor?

    That can work...
I welded a spot on back of passenger runner and added my iat there when I did this..

I was the first to do the lt4 swap on an lt1 if you need help with tune

Any additional help would be great. I’ll plan on the IAT sensor in the front MAP location, as I’m using the rear MAP location for a 3 bar sensor. I need a bit more time as I’ve decided to install the LT4 pump and injectors. Should make some decent power.

I make a conversion harness that takes the iat from the maf, and also converts from the stock 3 wire map and uses the factory LT4 4 wire map sensor in the back of the blower with built in iat.

This looks like a pretty old thread but I would definitely take you up on that if the offer stands? Mine is running pretty good other than the most annoying tq man advance issue ever LOL. It will bog when you first start giving it throttle if you're slowly pushing down on the pedal and then almost like a switch being shut off or snapping your finger the bog goes away and it sounds like a normal LT4 again and takes off HARD (if you press the pedal fast you don't notice it usually but it's there). I cant just stomp on it in park or neutral like everyone else can cause it just bogs and sounds embarrassing but if i slowly rev it to like 1500 plus and then stomp into it, it sounds awesome! Other tuners have looked it over and helped me reduce the tq man spark in other areas but just cant seem to figure this part out. Doesnt help this build was done by a shop for the previous owner so I don't have any first hand knowledge of what they did other than what I can see physically and in the tune.
