    TCC ramp exceded?

When logging my trans using status bits I noticed every once in a while I get a yes for the TCC ramp exceded. What does this mean? Should I be worried?

Im not sure what the TCC ramp is. The name leads me to think that it has something to do with the apply or release speed. *IF* thats it, then perhaps your converter is applying or releasing too fast.

But again, thats my theory. One of the cooler uber-pro guys should know and help ya out.

Nothing to worry about. The TCC Status usually reads "--3--" when that bit is enabled (or maybe I have it backwards). When the TCC Status reads "Apply" or "Locked" your TCC is locking or is locked.

I am talking about the TCC ramp not the mode. I saw the -3- and then the locked and off but sometimes a red yes will show on the TCC ramp exceded.

it means the TCC pressure is being limited by the maximum value.

But is that status bit is Yes does it keep it from locking up? I have one that seems to be the case with so how do I get around that?
