So I added new channels to my channel list in VCM scanner. When I try to look at an older log, whether from yesterday of 2 weeks ago, I don't see the new channels I added in that log. Is it because that when you add new channels, the only work on future logs ?? OR...do I need to be connected to the car when adding new channels ??

If it was not in the channel list when the log was made then the data for those channels will not be in the recording.
