whipple 2.9 with 102mm tuning issue

I just finished installing whipple 2.9 with whipple 102mm TB on my hemi 6.1 and facing some issues trying to tune it.
I have been chasing this issue for few days now.

During slow accelaration, all the sudden the throttle opens and the boost jumpes up to max
I tried changeing the throttle flow, small range/large range throttle demand but it didnt fix the issue.

I even tried to change the power % request and expected peddle in the torque managment ( as i read in this forum that it might be the issue) but still no joy.

It shows in log 1 at 00:00:55
    log 2 at 00:01:19

*here is the set up info
    NGC4
    Forged Hemi 6.1,
    HRT stage 2 cam,
ported heads with HHP push rodsand PSI springs ,
    whipple 2.9
    102mm throttle body
    8hp70 transmision

    I would appreciat any help

the tune you posted is for a 2005 5.7 jeep GC running a nag1

some of the logic in 2005 controllers is odd

i can try to help you next week if you still do not have a handle on it

thank you so much for your great support

the PCM and its operating system is from 2007 NGC4 that i had to swap a while ago when i did the the engine and transmition swap ( the HP70 didnt work with NGC3)
but it shows 2005 due to the VIN programing if thats makes a difference.

,I will keep trying, hopfully it i can get it sorted.

email me the wiring schematic for both your jeep with the ngc3 that was removed, and the vehicle that the ngc4 was taken out of

    would ya?

i wonder how different the operating systems are for those two controllers... you are a brave man lol

    Sure mate

I just forwarded both wiring schematic
they are almost the same no much differences between them
the swap was required due to differences in CAN bus between the NGC3 and NGC4 to make it work with the 8hp70

the swap was done a while a go (back in 2020) and the Jeep was running fine I dont think it is contributing to the throttle issue.

    oh

did you change anything between the good and the bad or did it just all of a sudden start randomly going wide open at cruise?

    which harness are you using?

what did you do about the ESM?

other than the addition of the esm for the 07, the 05 is almost the same, wild

looks like the natural leak detection vs evap is the only other difference

which harness are you running and when did the problem show up?

first thing i would do is pull that 102 off and see if the problem remains with the stock 85 in its place

*or a hellcat unit if you have one of those laying around

    the 2005 harness
the issue started only after installing the blower and the bigger throttle

From that datalog it looks like you could well be hitting the [ECM] 13530 - ETC Pedal WOT voltage threshold which is currently set to around 2.6V.
Once you exceed this threshold, the ETC system will snap the TB open to WOT.
This is the so called "light switch" effect.

I was just going through your thread : Understanding the Dodge ETC system: Tuning for a linear throttle response with a S/C? and trying to tweak it

I raised all of the WOT settings up to 3.196V but it didnt help at all, the throttle doesnt feel linear at all !
since mine is NGC4 most of the TQ managmet tables that are mentioned in the thread are missing or diffrent.

I will try to set it higher and hopfully it would help.

make a log of the issue with 44390 set higher than 13530

    try 3.7 and 3.196

    or a smooth boost controller?

Yeah, I wouldn't use PayPal Friends and Family either. You can get scammed and have no recourse but small claims court, like me
