Downloaded beta. I can make changes to file, but the save button is not live nor will ctrl+s work. I downloaded the net 8 runtime x64. Any ideas as to why i cant save edits in editor? The scanner will allow me to save.

make sure you have your Pod connected to the same PC you are doing the edit on and re sync
what folder was the tune saved in when you opened it?
what is the address?
is OneDrive enabled?
"Save as" does not work and one drive is enabled. I'll take another look this evening when i get in from work. I appreciate the suggestions fellas!
if save as does not work you have something else going on but ALL vcm suite files should be saved locally, not on MS cloud
that is the first thing i would change
Why are you needing to use the latest anything on a platform that's been out of production for nearly 10 years? There isn't going to be anything new added in the editor. In the scanner, maybe, but VCM Suite will allow you to have both an older release version and a Beta installed alongside each other on the same machine (edit in the old editor, scan with the beta).
Sorry fellas, been unexpectedly busy lately. So, i guess the full backstory would help. My apologies. I had HPT add a reverse lockout table to my tune a while back and just recently got around to updating Beta. I also found an older version of HPT that i tried to load as well. I have uninstalled the current version and downloaded the older version. I am now going to proceed with trying the older version and the new beta.
No luck with this. Would someone please take a look at this to see if i have a post o2 test active? I can make changes but cant save the file.
new ecu with vve tune.hpt
Catalyst test yes, post O2 test no. What version of the software are you trying to see those tests in? They don't exist anymore.
(psst... Why is P0103 No Error'ed?)(also, generally bad idea to change any MIL On Second codes to MIL On First, for anything other than MAF codes for doing speed density)
i was running SD but got a new ecm and copied over the DTCs and mustve missed it. Thanks for the heads up on the MIL on Second codes.
Rob I was able to open and re-save this file without any issues.
