Does anyone know which pin the GM E99 ECM ethanol fuel sensor is connected to?
PIN 5 and 16 on the Fuel pump power control module, X3 on ECM pin 6.
Which plug is X3 on the ECM?

X3 on the E99 is the grey connector. pin 6 is the Powertrain Bus Enable, which goes to the fuel composition sensor (pin 1)
the grey connector PIN 6 is wired

What color is the wire? Do you have the harness from the donor vehicle with the E99? GM has a few different places they put it. what vehicle was the E99 out of?

pins 5 and 16 on the Fuel pump power module. pin 16 is occupied, you just tap into it. pin 5 is empty, so youll need a terminal to plug into the fuel pump power module.

did you manage to find if the signal wire goes to pin 16? or pin 5? im in the same predicament
I am wondering this as well. Plus, what additional needs to be done in the tune to enable the flex fuel tables after adding in the ethanol sensor pin to the ECM?
the only 2 people i know of that have this info is Dave from DSX and Justin White .
I would have thought pin 6 on the X4 connector is the ethanol input and pins 5 and 16 on the Fuel pump power module are for your GND & +12v.
